Porto, Portugal

This weekend solidified the fact that dreary days can still be magical. Porto is a charming destination right along the Douro River in northern Portugal. I was shocked by just how many tourists were wandering the streets for being ‘offseason’. Without a big itinerary, it was awesome to just get lost with my fellow Mangos, take pictures and get to know each other over delicious food/cocktails and laughs. One sure stop made was to Livraria Lello, one of the oldest bookstores in the world, well known for its ornate interior design and unique staircase. The 45-minute wait to get in was well worth it!

I will be back Porto! But maybe when it’s sunny and 75…
